Hippopossum!

Beware the Hippopossum! One of the most dangerous creatures of the African wild, now infused with the DNA of a tree-loving marsupial. Keep your eyes on the trees, and if you see one of these playing dead, don't investigate!

New Challenge: Abominations!

So the theme this month is to create an abomination.  Take two deadly animals and combine them into one super deadly animal.  SyFy channel has all kinds of movies about them, my favorite was Sharktopus!  Make up your own and have fun.  Croctopus, Piranhadile, Octobear, whatever you want!

With Zeus and Poseidon being brothers and the two most powerful gods in Olympia I like to think there was some sibling rivalry between the two.

Promethean Revolution

What if Prometheus was behind the Industrial Revolution? He gave fire to mankind, why not steam?

This seems to me to be a perfect place to blend mythology and steampunk design, two things that I've loved for years. Sadly, I didn't have much time to work on this, and the question is stronger than the sketch. It almost demands a full story and multiple illustrations.

Even so, this was fun to tinker with for a while.
